Well I rented the game and the graphics are amazing, but the game itself is pretty dang hard. It takes like 10 bullets to kill one zombie. The game spans two entire discs and is huge. Get out there and buy this one...

No, the one that just got released for Gamcube is a remake of the first Resident Evil. RE Zero comes out later on. Nintendo is revamping and rereleasing the entire series first, though. All except for that lame-ass FPS game that was released a while back.

HOLY CRAP. WalMart just got it in yesterday, and I picked it up. I have never seen a more beautiful game in my life. I can't wait for the revamps of the other ones. I've only played the second one before now, so my first experiences with the games will all be on GameCube.

my brother just got resident evil today, and holy shit its scary. sure it has a scary story line and all but on psx it wouldnt have the same effect cuz of the not so gr8 graphics. the stuff looks real on cube, like a dog comes to bite you in the arm and blood is drippin and all. its the kewlest though when you stab a zombie in the face with a dagger, blood sprays and they fall over dead, most of the time.

i asked the guy at software etc where the resident evil graphics rank, he said they are by far the best graphics out there for any console at the time being, and i beleive it.

This is the only re game that I haven't played much for psx, I've beaten re2, 3, and got somewhere in the ps2 version of veronica but I got bored.

The fucking Crimson Heads SUCK. They are by far the nastiest enemies in the game, with the godforsaken dogs coming in a distant second.

Crimsons arent around much if you torch the normal zombies, but I'm stuck at this giant plant you have to put V-JOLT on (have the V-JOLT, but put it WHERE?!)

I dunno what to do about the V-Jolt. I haven't gotten there with Jill yet, and I didn't have to do anything about that with Chris.

yeah its a way kewl game, xenn is a little farther than me but thats cuz he has no life ;);) j/k. i play it now and then but yeah you already know to stick it in the roots, cuz i told you that. and for anybody who has a cube and who doesnt have the game, GET IT!!!! even if you had the one for psx, they changed/added 60% to the game. and crimsons are weak, just use the shotgun to blow off the heads, if you dont suck w/ it it owns all monsters. just aim up and when they are just ABOUT to bite you fire, works ALMOST everytime. also, blowing the heads off on regular zombies makes it so you dont hafta mess w/ crimsons, very nifty.

Crimsons are a pain in the fucking ass. And one thing that scared the shit out of me/made me laugh my ass off was the shark thing... I don't at all remember it jumping out and pulling you under when you walked along the path in the aquarium thing.

I checked a guide, and telling me "roots" doesn't help cause I figured that out in the game.

Kinda obvious when the document says "apply to the roots"

crimsons are easy as shit, just get the grenade launcher w/ acid shells, 1 shot kills on almost any monster (works on hunters i know, and they are the second toughest). yeah the sharks are kewl, i never got pulled under though, just bit a time or 2. i was only killed once by them when i tried to kill them with the shotgun.

i havent, some friends have, once i beat the game i will probably. but im gonna master easy mode a few times b4 i do normal (beat it under 3 hours any ending, to prepare me for hardmode 3 hours, so i can get antitank rifle) then im gonna play normal and master that under 3 hours, then hard of course. try beating normal mode under 5 hours w/ the best ending, you get a pimpin gun Samurai Edge, average damage very fast attack unlimited ammo. antitank is just ripped though, very, very high damage, medium attack, unlimited ammo. i gotta get me that shiot.

children children calm down.... i already beat the game w/ both chars and unlocked all the secrets .... sweet man... invisible enemy mode on hard setting is impossible.... and there is this one mode where there is one tough zombie in the mansion (remember the dead guy on the east wing porch, well his name is forest and in this mode he is awake and is patrolling somewhere in the mansion but he is strapped w/ grenades, no joke)
