Any advice from any of you that have worked in the past at one or any fast food place as to what I should say when they ask me shit? 2 of my good friends walked in and asked for a job and the manager said your both hired, w/o an interview so Im not so worried. Also i got a good chance of being hired cuzz if I use my 2 friends as referals to the job they both get 100$ added to their pay checks after 3 months of working their so they are gona be saying shit like "omg yeah hire him" which is a nice thing. ;)

I worked at a McDonalds when I was 15... Making a whole .50 cents above minumum wage, which was a lot to me back then... Heh. I was hired after a 5 minute interview, and started 20 minutes after that.
Let's see... Generally you want to sound positive, and ambitious, make it seem like you want the job and you will work hard to keep it. Be sure to ask them questions too, such as when they ask you at the end "Do you have any other questions?" I'd usually say "Yes sir, what do you think I would enjoy about working here?"
If you ask questions, then it actually seems like an interview, as opposed to saying "Yes", "No", "Yes", etc, making it feel like an interrogation on their part.
Look smart. Other than that advice... You can try monster.com, I heard they have a lot of interview tips.

JUst be yourself and work as hard as you can. I don't know if this will be a problem for you, but try not to go off on rude, or stupid customers. I never did, but i was damn well close to doing so.

Yeah you better get that job Austin cuzz im not splitting it with Kieth, wtf did you have to tell him for?
Soon as I turn 18 I've got a job already ready for me at Bestbuy, working in the back on installations and comp tech. Gonna be sweet as hell.
I recommend instead of handing in an application (if u do that) ask personally to speak to the manager, find out what time he/she gets in there and Hand in your application then.

That's a great idea. I should have done that when I applied to Taco Bell. I handed in my application to a girl that I knew liked me but I refused to show interest in her 'cuz she was teh ugl0rz. Anyways, I swear she threw it away.. they never tried to get in contact with me once.

Thats actually common. If your 15 or 16, sometimes they act as though you never even applied.

Appearance is always a big thing in a job interview. When you get interviewed, make sure you ALWAYS look nice, dont just slop down some tennis shoes, red shorts, and a grey shirt... Try wearing a blouse or a skirt with a red shirt, and makeup ( For women, of course!) and wear a suit, and some special shoes, and make sure you're groomed nicley( for men)... This may seem a little odd to you, but how many times have you judged somebody on what they wear--" Oh he was just wearing a ol' pair of tennis shoes and regular clothes" When meeting somebody important, make sure you give yourself the once-over before you leave the house.

I'm in your boat. I work at a grocery store and I only make $6.95 and that's including the two raises I have received.

I interview about 10 people a month who want to work for my company and some of the shit they try to put past you is amazing.
Rule #1 - Be honest. If you dont know how to do something say so, but also add that you are willing to learn. And dont inflate your educational achievements without proof.
Rule #2 - Dress well. I was conducting interviews for a $11.00 an hour intern position at my company and was STUNNED at the costumes these kids showed up in. One skinny little white kid shows up in a complete Allen Iverson uniform headband and all :haha: For a freeking job interview?!?!?! Wtf was he thinking? Others wore ratty jeans and flip flops and untucked shirts...Of course I just hired the girl with the biggest tits anyway
Rule #3 - Ask questions
Rule #4 - Be on time.
