I personally hate the game and the series. It just bores me to sleep. But what is your opinon?

You are entitled to your oppinion but what reasons do you have to hate it? I like it because it is fun no matter how many times you go through it and that goes for all of the Zelda games.

I hate it because I play it, it gets too easy and then I just end up wasting money on it. That's probably my only reason, because it just bores me. :whore:  <=== after only 2 hours of Zelda Wind Waker.

I never played Windwaker but I know the rest of them are fun. Have you ever played Zelda 64? The only thing I hate about it is the Water Temple.

I ABSOLUTELY HATED Zelda 64. It was way too clunky in the controllers and yet again, it bored me to death.

I LOVE Zelda. One of the greatest series, ever.

I love zelda, but not the new one, and the latest ones have been too easy.
I voted pie, beacuse there was nothing in the middle.

I'd have to disagree there. I think Zelda is definetly one of the greatest game franchises. While WW was a letdown because of the difficulty (or lack thereof) the 64 ones were very entertaining. However, you can't judge the Zelda series without playing Link to the Past (the SNES one), which is the best games ever made IMO.

I think they just got stupider and easier after that one. I love that one so much, and it takes more than just a day to beat it. I didn't like the newer ones as much though, so I voted undecided.

Whoa, I personally think that OoT was by far the best of them all.

Yes, that is YOUR opinion. You are entitled to it, as all of us here.

Nah, you can beat it soo fast, I was at your house today and you did the water temple in like one and a half hours, and that is your worst temple.
That game is soo easy its sad, zelda games are very cool, but they are way to easy.

The Zelda series is one of the best video game series in existence.

And I can't believe you guys are saying the Zelda games are too easy, expecially you Kagom. Final Fantasy isn't any friggin' harder. The FF games just force you to play for a much longer time by making you spend an extra five to ten hours running around gaining EXP. That's not difficult, that's annoying. The Zelda games just cut through all that unnecessary crap.

actually, FF does have a harder difficulty (in my opinion) than Zelda. They might force you, but you can't play on low levels. Gaining EXP is hard, and not annoying ;) I still think Zelda sucks, as does my friend.

Some zeldas are good and some suck, the same as in every line of video games... heres an example: Final Fantasy 7 was the greatest game of all time, and ff8 sucked something that was big, hard, and pointy.

Anyone who says FF8 sucked is stupid. It might not have been as good as the rest, but it definately didn't suck.

FF8 was probably one of the worst games ive ever played... I actually got it again (for like 10 bucks at gamestop) just to see why i hated it so much.

I don't have anything against FF8 as I have only played number 7. I fell in love with the game, played it hours upon hours. I believe that is one of the best RPGS I have ever played.

Just agree, zelda is easy on the point that there is absolutely NO way to screw it up and you can beat the game very quickly and get the bare minamum of hearts. If you go arond and do everything in zelda it can be quite the challenge, they are very fun games.

Final fantasy can be screwed up, if you do it too fast or skip things, on the other hand, if you pump all your characters you can hardly loose.
Its all about how you play the games.

the switching between Laguna's world and Squall's world really made me mad.... and i didnt like the story at all. Drawing also bugged me.

The story is the main part of the rpg, and i hated FF8's story, so thats why i hate it as a game.

i think FF 8 WAS THE BEST FF ever. It was my first and I value it a lot. But hey, you think it sux and that is your opinion. However, I dislike your opinion as you will probably dislike mine ;)

Gaining EXP is hard, and not annoying

It's tough for you to run around in circles and execute the same commands over and over for hours on end? Damn. You have problems wiping properly too?

Gaining EXP is easy. It's annoying, tedious, and goes on for way too long, but it's easy as hell.

I consider the Zelda games to be just as easy as the Final Fantasy games. The only thing that's "hard" about the FF games is holding on to my sanity for five hours as I endlessly level up my characters.

Many of the RPGs I've played is like that... it forces you to waste time leveling by suddenly making a boss impossible to beat.

Zelda doesn't have that problem. As long as you know how to solve the puzzles, find out the weak point of the boss, locate certain items, then you're good to go.

And that's what I like better about the Zelda games. You spend more time playing the game and less time wandering around. I would consider both of equal difficulty, it's just that one relies on creative boss and puzzle design to be challenging, and the other relies on repetition and annoyance to be difficult. One is difficult because it tests your critical thinking skills, the other is difficult because it tests your patience.

I have only played Ocarina of Time(spellcheck), so my decision is based on it that game alone... I loved it

Many of the RPGs I've played *are* like that.

I like both the Zelda series and the Final Fantasy series. I don't care which is better.

Samus is catching up though.

Damn right she is. I've only played three Metroid games, but I already consider them to be equal to the Zelda games, in my opnion. And personally, I like Samus a lot better than Link. Link is cool, but Samus is an undisputable badass.
