Why does the forum automatically make it where there is only 1 space after a period even if you put 2? It's annoying.

I don't use spaces after my sentences so it doesn't affect me.

2 spaces after a period is for monospaced fonts. 1 space after a period is for proportionally spaced fonts..

Two spaces after the period is grammatically correct anyway. Doesn't really have anything to do with font spacing. It has been something I've noticed for a while and has kinda been annoying but I never did much about it. What's more annoying though is that Dan refuses to even put one space after his sentences.

cause it's HTML. When you post. it is sent to the sever as HTML with restrictions. you can also just do this.

Thats a lot of annoying HTML to add just for the effect of a few spaces though.

I have no problem with putting a space after each sentence but my brother does because he thinks that as long as it isnt in the rules he should not have to do that. I am sorry for not spacing on my other posts and i will try to from now on. :p

What's more annoying though is that Dan refuses to even put one space after his sentences.In case you haven't noticed I put spaces after my sentences now. I would have never gave in if the staff was mean to me in the talk to the staff forum but they were nice so I put spaces now.

Glad to see that u do that now Dan. Next thing to work on is how to be a better brother. lol jk. :haha: I guess everyone here does that now so maybe someone should close this thread.
