Has any one heard anything about FFXII (12) if you would like to here some stuff about it then go to either 1UP (http://www.1up.com/) or Gamers.com (http://www.gamers.com/) then search for "Final Fnatasy XII" not FFXII or nothing will come up.
Also one cool little fact for all those who played FFTA (Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced) when Mewt comes over with the book the "Final Fantasy" he mentions is Final Fantasy XII and FFXII does have "Bangaa" and "Viera"!!

Yeah, FFXII's in the same world of Ivalice, the normal version of it, though. All the races are in there and they apparently all speak their own languages.

Again, I live in Canada, more specificly Nova Scotia. Its the province to the far lower east. East of New Bruinswick, somewhat below PEI and definitly below NewFoundland. Hopefully u know ur provinces of Canada good enough to locate NS. We get it a bit later but it is definitly worth the wait.

Now back to FFXII, that airship looks like it ownz all others. still excited. Three excellent FF's coming out this year/already out.(FFXI PC, FFXI PS2[later this month], FFXII, later this year, FFCC.) and then FFVII ADVENT CHILDREN. This is some awsome shit.

FF XII comes out late 2004 (Winter maybe even late Fall!) or early 2005 in the U.S. and (Tyrannicide because you live in Canada. I'll give you some insider imformation the release dates are in fact suposed to be really realy close (a month at the most!)!) but i don't have any new links :( sorry

Yep, since Sony has almost exclusive rights to the FF name. Tactics Advance and CC were exceptions, but I bet we'll see more like that given the success of those two.

I really wanna see how Final Fantasy XII turns out. It is supposed to be sorta darker than the other final fantasies but i hope that doesnt make it a strange game. Squarenix is really bringing out some cool games recently and i cant wait to see more from them. I dont know much about FFXII but i think it will be cool although the main character looks kinda weird.

The director of FFXII also says he wants to deviate a bit from the normal dungeon crawl to cutscene to dungeon formula. He wants this to be a more interactive FF than the last couple were (especially FFX)

Yea, but they are building up are anticipation the closer it gets to the release date. If we new a lot of stuff, u may not think it is what u would like, but if u don't know enuff info, it makes u get it and see how good it is.

I agree tyrannicide. That is exactly what they are trying to do. They want more people to buy their games so they only give u the good details if they do have them to build up your enthusiasm to buy that game. I wont buy that game though i think because i dont really wanna buy another final fantasy game for awhile if i end up getting FF XI and Crystal Chronicles. I am thinking about picking up crystal chronicles soon but i am gonna have to wait for FFXI since i dont have a credit card yet.

Im gonna get FFXI soon. I am definitely going to get FFXII when it comes out to. Aswell as anything that I have to get in order to get FFVII Advent Children.

Same here except I not going to buy FF XI because I play my parents say I play to many online games and I can't get this one! this kinda sucks because I'm kinda doin' a copay with my friend sooo..... I can't tell you to much about how you pay because I pay him and he pays his parents so there just using the credit card method I don't evan have to pay with credit or nothin' my friends parents do!! :D So I can't tell you about that but I can tell you it is addictive and very fun!

It is especially fun multiplayer. Did any of you know that Final Fantasy 12 is based in the same world as final fantasy tactics advance was in.

If you would have read the first three posts of this thread you would have realized that we all know that by now this is old news but because you brought up the subject again itell you something else FFTA also has refferences to FF XII
