Be warned, it starts off quite fun, then there's ~ a 20 level time after lvl 10 where you can't really do anything fun.

I hear that all the time. Lineage wasn't that great, it was just addictive and FFXI is clearly way way way better, so my odds r pretty high for liking it.

not to get off topic too much, but EverQuest II is looking better than FF XI. But yeah, FF XI is tight, i have my Galka Monk at level 9. And get on the Fairy Server (if you can) so we can party together, be a fun time dude :)

Yea, my bro is gettin a MasterCard, he applyed for it as soon as we found out we can't use r parents card. If u have a older sibling that can get one, get them to get one and just give them the money since they would have to pay off the credit card later on. It will be worth it.

I was able to play Final Fantasy XI for PS2 yesterday for about an hour. My friend visited my house after he bought it and set it up over my house. This morning his human male warrior was level 7 with the level 7 sword I can't remember the name of. I think Final Fantasy XI is fun. My friend's character is Hectith on the Seraph server. He is pretty good at it so party with him if you can.

One of my friends got it yesterday and he says it pwnz. I am in a clan at another site, and the clan is all on the Fairy server so they r going to get a world pass so i can play their. And they will help me. Now I just got to get the game.

It's great until you hit the lvls between 15 and 30. There's a gap there where you really have nothing fun to do except fight (and you're too strong to gain anything from monsters you fought before, but will get the shit kicked out of you by anything stronger than them) That period is especially hard for spellcasters.

The place im getting it from gets it in today between 1-5pm. So i will mostlikely play it today.

The only thing I don't like is how when you die you lose experience and sometimes you level down. My friend was level 10 almost 11 and he got a sword given to him for level 11. He died and leveled down to 9. He leveled up to 10 again,then died and went back to level 9. He stayed up all night last night playing it until 11:00 AM today. I was sleeping when he left so I don't know what level he is on now.

yea, but i think almost all MMORPG's r like that. It is a pretty good idea, a punishment for dieing. But sometimes u lose to much exp.

It takes a long time just to get to level 2 and then it gets harder and harder to get level-ups. Thankfully when my friend started a very-experinced person showed him around the town. That same person also gave some weapons and armor to my friend. Also a linshell for the Funky Taru Dancers group.

any of you here that have Final Fantasy 11 or get it in the future. Make sure you post the name of your character and the server you are in so when I get it I can make a party that includes people from zelaron and I could make a linshell group for zelaron. Once I get ff11 I will put my character name here and the server I am on.

wtf are you talking about? I got to level 2 in like 1 minute. It was easier to get to 3, but it's hard to get to level 10.

Well, I finally got to play FFXI, wooooot. It is so f-ing awsome, it PWNZ any other MMORPG. I started playing this weekend, Saturday night at 11:30 - sunday morning at 4, went to bed, got up at 11 and started playing again. Then at around 2pm, I deleted my old character and started a new one on the Fairy server cause i finally got a world pass from the linkshell i am going to join from another website clan.

I am on the Fairy server and my character name is Dragonov , I am a Elvaan warrior, lvl 6.
