Damned thing is I'm off anyway due to testing week but..

New Yorkers, who have braved what has already been a brutally cold winter, spent Wednesday morning digging out of yet another snowstorm.
Flights were canceled and schools were closed as a low pressure system swept through the area. The National Service said the region received between 3 and 10 inches of snow, with 8 inches measured in Central Park.
By 9:30 a.m., Dix Hills, in Suffolk County, had recorded 13.2 inches; Bellmore, in Nassau County, had 11.5 inches, and White Plains, in Westchester County, had 9.5 inches.

Here, it just gets below freezing for the morning drive, then by the time you drive home, you have to take your heavy coat off so as to not sweat. It was hell when I was walking, because I had to either freeze to death in the morning or carry a heavy coat that seems to get heavier and heavier in the afternoon. Then there's the whole randomness of the temperature. Up untill this morning, I had been wearing my light jacket or no jacket for the past two weeks. This morning it was 35 degrees farenheight. Going to lunch, I rolled the windows down because it was that much warmer, but it could easily have been a lot colder. Such is a Texas winter...
