No one ever knows exactly what I'm feeling.
I keep it all to myself.
I don't want to worry them,
Nor do I want their pity.
But there is one I can turn to.
Every night he is with me,
Surrounding me,
Loving me endlessly.
He alone can comfort me when I cry.
Only he knows my fears.
Only he knows what upsets me,
And what angers me.
No judging do I get from him,
Because he cannot speak.
The silence is comforting to me
When he says nothing.
So to him I cry to,
And to him I beg to.
In return I get nothing,
Nothing but wordless compassion.
He holds me in his grasp.
He is there, yet he is not.
He is the one I turn to,
Because he is Nothing.
He is nothing but Darkness.
