Well, Apple, I’ll tell you:
Eating you has been the perfect gift.
It’s been brilliant,
And Red,
And better than best,
And the wrapping is good to eat,
De-lish
And all the time
I’ve been chewin’ you
And swallowin’ you,
And sometimes savoring the last bit
The most amazing part.
So Apple, jump in my mouth.
Don’t even think of running
‘Cause I will catch you quick
Don’t you run now--
For I already bit you
I am chewin’
And eating you has been the perfect gift
