It's not too difficult really... If you're just stuck, try gamefaqs.com or ask Google.

There was an FF6 for the SNES? I thought it was FF3 for the SNES?

Medieval Bob

...I thought this was common knowledge...
FF6 Jap = FF3 US.
However, FF3 Jap does not equal anything in US.
To avoid confusion online, FF3 is usually referred to as FF6.

Well yes, I know that, but there was both FF3 and FF6 released in america as the same game, FF3 was for SNES, but yeah you're right, people would get confused.

There never was a "FF6" released in America...

And if it was the same game... why ask the question in the first place?

Actualy FF6 was released on playstation. It's same thing as FF3 on Snes but i guess they felt like puting the number it should of had to begin with.

The Final Fantasy series started with 1 and went through 10. There are also three Final Fantasy Legends games on Game Boy aside from the Tactics' and Mystic Quest.

Also, First released as FINAL FANTASY III in the U.S., FINAL FANTASY VI brings back all of the qualities that made it the best selling RPG of its time, and adds a few bonuses unique to this re-release.

...I lost my train of thought... I think I just wanted to point out that Square's advertisement for it stated that it was FF3 released in the US. Anyhow... anybody who doesn't know that FF6 was released as FF3 on SNES has little right to participate in any of the older console sections of a gaming forum in the first place.

There was an FF6 in america, and I asked because you said it was for SNES, when FF6 in america was released on the playstation.

Well i htink if we talk about the *FF3* on snes we should at least put (ff6jap) next to it so it avoid confusion.
