I liked 8. Unlike most people who have started on FF 7, I started with 8. And I thought it was great :)

I like Tactics, too. It was really cool. And I find its gameplay easier to understand than that of Tactics Ogre. Did you guys get all the secret characters, learned Zodiac, and learned how to use the Calculator?! The only other game with FFTactics-esque gameplay I've thoroughly enjoyed is Saiyuki-Journey West by Koei. Even if the only useful summon in the entire game was Mother. !@#*$%^%(#~~~~!!! Kicked that demon bastard's ASS~~~!!!

FF7 and FF9 are my favorite FFs so far. FF8 was a total letdown. Well, it's my opinion, anyway. Any thoughts on X2....?

Well, I've now played all but one Final Fantasy and beaten most of them, so here's my full list.

2. FF6
3. FF4

I have yet to complete 2, 3, 5 and 10. I'm almost done with 2, and I'm about 25% of the way through 5. The only one I have not played at all is 3. I'll just have to wait until the Final Fantasy 3/Seiken Densetsu 3 two pack that Square-Enix MUST RELEASE.

I heard Final Fantasy 3 will be remade, but as to what system, I don't know. More than likely, Playstation and Seiken Densetsu 3 will be released to GBA.

If your talking about FF3(american version) on snes it already been released it's in final fantasy anthologies. The ff3(jap) never made it out of japan. So i doubt they will make a cd with it for PS.

Sorry but my vote goes to FF Tactics. I'll admit I had a hard time deciding between FF7, FF8 and Tactics. But Tactics just has that main theme stuck in my head. Large amount of character jobs and abilities that you can customize to do deadly combos. The game is vast (too bad they couldnt' fit in a 2 player battle against each other). FF7 - was great, but not my favorite, FF8 - interesting and great, FF9 - ROFL Yeah right, FF10 - o.O; and I thought FF9 sucked. Only fun thing is casting Bahumat and doing crazy damage with Rikku...or dodging 200 lightning bolts. The old FF games are also cool...but Im starting to lose my pixel tastes =( They should remake in 3D. (Woot! Terra in 100% 3D!!!)

I liked FF 10. But 9 could've been better. But, anyway, I hope they remake FF 3j for the US. I have it on ROM and it won't work now :-/

Yeah, I can't play any of the FF's after FFIX, since I don't have any other consoles outside of a N64, PSOne, GBA, or just my Computer. I have played a little bit of FFX. It's a nice game, but a bit too complicated for me. I didn't really enjoy the leveling system. Or whatever the hell that sphere was.

FF4 wasn't stupid, FF5 was. FF4 is one of the best in the series in my opinion...

FF4 changes the battle system to Active Time Battle instead of Turn based, which added quite a few things in battling. The plot and characters isn't half-bad, either.
