Done in science class... You can even see that I used lined paper! o.O hehe

EDIT: Yeah you're right King_Amazon, except you left out that she was also in Bladur's Gate 1 :) He just named her that because he couldn't think of any names.

Isn't Illustrator primarily used for vector art? Besides, nice work Randuin, although some proportions are slightly off. Be really careful with the width between the eyes.

not bad if ur just starting, I like the robot with the big head.

to bad I dont have a scanner yet, I did get a tablet not so long ago, but I havent really drawn much with it yet, 1 example from what I have drawn, is the face in my sig. When I've made something good I'll post it too.

Thanks, yeah I do need to work on that.

And yes... Illustrator works completely off vector... I'm not sure what you mean by realistic, any CG that comes close to looking realistic (Not by manual pixel painting means), is probably 3d. BUT, I have seen people do VERY amazing vector work illustrator, it was basically selecting different parts and doing paint buckets + gradients, since you could make a selection out of all your vector paths. And that's how he filled in his lights and darks and had all these contrasts that made them just look amazing. His work can be found on CGTalk... But I can't remember his username or the name of the thread.

THAT type of shading and coloring makes ANY drawing look profesional :-P.....some drawings DO look better black and white though
