Do you think that having a zelaron emulation server (for snes, etc) would be a good idea, or do you think it would be a waste, no one would play.

only on an individual date and time basis. For starters, which games would we play and on what emulator?

many popular SNES emulators (zsnes, for example) have online capabilities, where the second controller could be someone playing over a network. Though i wouldnt want to play a fighting game cuz of the lag, maybe something turn based like kirby's dream course

1. OC48 isnt worth wasting on SNES
2. Netcode for ZSNES isnt that good, so no connection can create the kind of stability required to play UMK3, etc

why isnt worth wasting on snes?

It's an OC-48 backbone. It is still shared, or it would cost us a little more than $80.000/month. Either way, we still get a pretty decent amount of bandwidth, since it's a direct connection with AT&T in this case.

In other words, it is way, WAY more bandwidth than other servers could usually provide.
