Best FPS of all time

What game do you think is the best currently released (i.e. Half-Life 2 and Doom III don't count) FPS of all time and why? I think it's Deus Ex. For reasons explained in this thread (http://www.zelaron.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22144)

y deus ex is definatly my favorite. A while back the game came up in a thread and I decided to install it again, I've played the game completely through for about 3 times, and still for the fourth time I got to see area's I hadnt seen before, the game is just amazing.

Are we talking singleplayer or multiplayer?

For Singleplayer it's Deus Ex..

For MP it's Half-life, for it's sheer replayability (various mods like cs, esf, ns, ts)

I'd have to go with DX as well, but No One Lives Forever had a great, if linear, single player.

If it counts, Jedi Knight II. If not, Dues Ex, definately. Good stories are a good thing. RPG elements, better.
