I've seen people provide links to songs, other threads and stuff, but they don't write out a big long thing, they just say "here" and its dark blue or something, but HOW does it provide a link? I don't get it.

Use the full featured reply option and click on the things you want.

What do you mean? I never noticed a option about links. I'm talking about that thing YOU do in Apply for Positions Here, or at least what you used to do. You would seperate the threads and say "to view the other post click here" Got it?
He's saying to hit the "Post Reply" button instead of using the quick reply box. There is a button on that page above the reply box which is "http://" and when you hit it you are given prompts to make a link.
Or if you can take a few seconds to learn the VB code (http://www.zelaron.com/forums/misc.php?action=bbcode#buttons) for url's and all will be happy.
no he means like when you put here ( blah blah) here [/url)
like this [url=www.zelaron.com/forums)

If you are talking about in AIM or something use the html tag:
<.a href="URL">text you want</a.>
If you are talking about forums use the url tag:
[url.="URL"]text you want[/url.]
Of course, skip the periods for maximum quality.
