Need Help Buying Notebook PC

I've decided that I want to buy me a laptop. I want to buy something in the 700-1300 range. It needs to have integrated wifi, and I'd like for it to be able to play most games, although I'll probably buy the Mobile Radeon 9600 for it.

So far I think the new widescreen notebook by emachines is my best choice (Emachines M5310). Any reccomendations will be greatly appreciated.

Get a Dell Inspiron 600m... it's got a wifi card and a Centrino processor... that's pretty much what you want.. but since Dell has the worst website ever, I can't find the price.

No way I'm going to buy Centrino. I hear bad things about it. Very bad things...

Well, the truth be told, that's all I've heard too. It's not even 802.11g, it's 802.11b.. (well not until later this year.)
