scroll button not working

this problem started a month ago. i cant use my scroll button in internet explorer, it works fine in normal program folders and such
but its not working in any website anymore.
its really annoying to have to use the slide all the time

any1 have an idea on how to fix this problem ? thx

What kind of mouse is it?

a normal mouse, no optical or cordless :(
connected trough usb

its from logitech, named logitech miniwheel mouse

first of all, go to control panel > mouse, and make sure the middle button is on "auto-scroll". that's about all i can think of as of now.

already checked that, no difference
maybe it has something to do with internet explorer, because thats the only place where it doesnt work

So what your saying is your scroll works everywhere else? Well, what version of IE do you have? not that it matters.
