Respect, something that all the not so well known members need and also some known members need too, how to get it, this is pretty much a newb respect guide to zelaron.

If you're new to zelaron here's how you get the forum's respect.

To get respect first you have to be nice and try not ot be stupid, if someone flames you for some reason just report it to a mod+ or try and make the thread stable again by being neutral but don't flame.
KEEP AWAY FROM THE FLAME FORUM! uneless you want to flame something that has nothing to do with respected members then you're fine because usually people team up on the new guys if they flame respected people.
Try to be helpful around the forum, everyone can use a little extra help and that's how I got respect, notice I don't have alot of posts for the time i've been on, that;s because my posts have content and they're usually helpful like this one.
Try to fix things and point things out that people don't know about and if someone helps you thank them and show gratitude for what they've done.
Hang out in the help forum and try your best at helping people at subjects that you are good in.
Show the people that you have talent, if you have talent people like you and want to have a piece of it, not many talents can be shown thrue the internet but if you have 1 that can show it asmuch as you can but try not to brag ;-)
EDIT: Ah, thanks KR for the clue-in.. AVOID SPAMMING! :D

That's it for now, I'll post more if i think of more

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

I'd have to disagree with the first few things, I think mostly everyone remembers when I came here, made a total jackass of myself for fun, antagonized everyone (including respected members), then completely turned around and now everyone loves me!!! ;)

You can earn alot of respect in the flame forum, If you got the guff and inteligence to stand up for yourself.

You also lose respect in the flame forum. I can't flame for shit, so everytime I do, I can feel myself going down the drain.

quote= "zagggon" Yes i suck dick for pennies,

thought so... You know what you keep up the good work too man! Flaming outside the flame forum in a thread labeled important, especially when the flame is terrible, is a great idea!

I think that the only thing that will cure these things is experience. 75% of the people that come here start out as ass-tards that try and get attention in the flame forum. However, I have noticed that in time these people turn into good members, once the dissapointing ridicule of all of the experienced users starts to sink in. Eventually it will all sort itself out.

I doubt that the people that break these rules would bother reading something that makes this much sense.

Huh, you posted this to late Ex. I was already an Ok member by the time this thread was created. Why didn't you make this BEFORE I was hated?

Ha! I outsmarted someone smarter than me!

As I was saying, if the user who is new flames people for no obvious reason, respect should not be needed.

Wow, your a quick one.

Medieval Bob

Bah. I never know what is or isn't a sticky because I don't open its forum.

If a thread isn't displayed when I click the "New Posts" link, then I'll never know its there as I don't use the forum subcategories.

All right, enough. This is the "respect" thread, and I'm seeing a general lack of it right now. Take any and all bickering to the Flame Forum.

And since we also encourage a respect of the English language, I'd like to inform you that "more quick" is not correct.

This thread didn't have any respect for anyone or anything since the first post. Wonder why? This thread should have been made in the flame forum.
Ok i'am stoping my senseless babble.

King Kai... send an email to these guys asking them about the correctness of "quicker" versus "more quick" and you will be disappointed with the results.

Nah fool sorry he just directed me to some grammer site. He can go prove it if he wants...as i've requested two times before. Where is the proof you speak of?

RoboticSilence
2004-03-20, 06:48 AM
Give me your email address and I'll have the proof sent right to you. Don't be so overconfident about things you clearly have no knowledge of.
