The original is still the best, but Sonic Advance 1 and 2 are great as well. Heck, they're all good.

remember the first sonic in genisis, where you put the code and you can change to anything you want like the coins or bad guy and stuff???

There was a cheat to let you play knuckles in Sonic 2, it was awesome. They even had a special area in a level that only Knuckles could reach.

Out of all the Sonic game it'd sorta be a tie between Sonic 3/Knuckles and Sonic 2... I really loved the level edit cheat with Sonic 2... it was really fun to mess with.
