I was thinking of getting one, my little sister and her boyfriend said I should, my fiance says it's really hot, and my friend's said it'd be cool... I am already going to get one, I am just wondering what your opinions on it was.

No....No....No.

What if you get into a fight and people punch you on the face, aimming at that...?

That's what I was thinking, but my girl doesn't like violence so I've stopped my violent ways for her, and will avoid fights wherever possible. If I cant, then I will simply remove the piercing in time before the first swing.

Well, my concern for piercing is...isn't it like, the more piercing, the more weak spot on your body?

But if you can avoid fight, good right ahead.

I wouldn't let my BF do that though. =P

In my opinion, any kind of piercing on guys is pretty gay, at least around where I live. Maybe it is popular where you live (Reno, NV), but IMO, I would never even think about it.

Ya... I'm not a fan of piercings myself.

Well where I come from they arent homosexual at all unless you get piercings in both ears as a guy, and arent a goth trying to express something.
They're just for decoration, and to make your girlfriend horny as fuck... ;)

I am woman, hear me roar!

But anyway, I probably wont get it for a couple of months, after I have a roof over my head.

I wouldn't do it, simply because like a lot of people have said in this thread, guy peircings are gay.

Well, now that's just being closed minded.

I didn't say I wouldn't do it because they said it's gay, I said I wouldn't do it because I agree with them and think it's gay.

Piercings are more of a feminine thing... why the fuck would you want to pierce your body? I too think that piercings = homo, or transy...

I had my left eyebrow pierced for a while, but I had to take it out to get a job last summer. I've been considering getting it redone.

I'd say go for it. It's certainly the least painful place on your body to get pierced, and it's really easy to clean. It heals rather quickly, and it wouldn't be terribly painful if it were ripped out accidentally.

You cant get a job with a eyebrow piercing? Really?

Well, you couldn't wear it to sleep, that's for sure. What if you fell off the bed eyebrow first?

Raziel

Actually, you have to sleep with it in, otherwise it will close up within a few hours.

Actually, DFD, I was re-applying to a place I was employed at the summer before. Between the two summers, a new manager had been hired and she was a Nazi about facial piercings. Some places are okay with it, some places aren't.

I'll probably get a job first then the piercing. If the manager has a problem with it, so be it. The job will only be for a few months til I go to the Reserves.
