Ugh...8 Mile was fucking awful. I got practically dragged to see it. I coudn't take it. Had to leave like 20 minutes into it. Then I went home and watched This Is Spinal Tap.

Acting wasn't terrible... I just liked it because I like Eminem's music, and he, as a person, interests me.

I agree that the acting wasnt so hot but i think that the basic theme and the story about his life was pretty interesting to see unfold. Britney Murphy is such a horrible actress. Makes me wanna puke every time i try to see her act.

I didn't much like her in this one...but I did like her in most of her other one's...My favoret was when she was in Clueless...and I liked her in don't say a word...but anyway...:)
I don't even watch MTV, the very idea that they call it "music" television is laughable.

Haha, LoTR was a boat load better. 8 Mile was cool, but it is not a "quality" movie. I liked it though, just because Eminem is cool as shit though.
Xenn, back in the day, all they used to show was music videos. It was a more suitable name back then, but they had to evolve to the growing fad. :)

Yeah now a days all they have on is that road rules and real world bullshit. All it is is a bunch of people in the same house or enclosed area arguing about who fucked who and a bunch of swears are beeped out and so on and so forth. MTV has really lost its way.

But I like a lot of those shows, so I keep on watching it. I like the new MTV a lot more over the old, all video one.

Probably because they came out too recently for the awards.

Yeah expect them to win awards the next time they have a MTV movie awards. I think they do all the movies that opened in just 2002. But i agree that both of those movies kicked mucho ass.
