Well, I started working on it today, and I'm fairly pleased with the result so far. Hopefully, I'll find myself ambitious enough to actually finish something this time. :)

I wish I could do that :-(.
Are you planning to make it with good detail later on? or just a smooth face?

I'm planning to create the whole face and texture/light it up a bit. On the downside, I might get bored and work on something new instead. :P

i hope you know that most very extremely detailed faces don't actually have the details modeled? texture 0wnz j00 :P

Actually, a lot of "very extremely detailed" faces have several detail parts modeled, like warts and whatnot. Bump maps just can't do the "fake extruding" at times. In fact, any details that will visually stand out shouldn't be planned to be shaded (bumped) out with a texture, they should be modeled as often as possible. :)

Woot, a LW character. :D
Of course Square and SquareSoft tend to aim for "perfect" characters when it comes to beauty. It's pretty much an unwritten rule that young and good-looking characters are automatically great work.

...and don't you dare point out that the forehead (eyebrow areas), bottom nose and lips need some work, I'm already aware of that.

That's what endomorphs are for; facial animation. Changing the facial expressions is for later on. :P

Only main problem I see right now is the forhead pops out above his eyes, like a lot(gives them a place to hide). And also his eyes are really seperated... but everything else looks cool.
