Those two suffice for almost any thing you want to model... lofting your whole project is not nessesarity the fastest workflow but you can :) so what are you guys waiting for? download them and start doing things! :)
Ok I am downloading these, what are they? Movie tuts?

yes video tutorials :) for maya tho... so i dunno... i don't think i can make much more quality tutorials for LW :)
I watched them, the Revolve tool is the Lathe tool in LW.

You should just sticky one of your post, have it closed and just keep editing it while you add more to it.

Yep, you know what we also need, someone really good at PS and start makeing Video Tuts on it. I really think knowing PS will help with LW, Maya, XSI, 3Dsmax etc.

Yeah I wasnt that good at makeing Wood, and metal I was ok at. I am also going to try and make Rust, Concrete, Copper etc.

what i do is just take pictures of the real thing and apply the map... lol digital camera rulez :D
True, if my mom lets me use hers I will mess with that. I still want to make mine own so I have control :)

well what i do is take picture and then manipulate... IE: add graffiti and so on
I see, but then you dont have full power.

ya i do :) i get to see which pictures i take and basically use the healing brush so you see... i do have the full power :D
I guess in that way you do. I just like starting from nothing.
Maya has been pretty cool from what I have messed with. Nothing serious.

it's not THAT much work if your really good at flash :D
It is for updateing. I mean writeing a WebPage and keeping it updated it so much easier.

mySQL is so much easier than any other database i've ever encountered :D
well PHP has reading files, and it is so simple. I just use that till I learn mySQL.
