Chris!!!! Listen up man. You need to do something about this.
Members: 5,291<~~~ Not good.
Seeing that it has been 5,2xx members for almost a month now, what you need to do is stop guest from reading the post in the D2 Forums. Let them see the section, the titles, but not the post. That will get more members to join more quickly. I've been to many forums that have Diablo sections and where guest coudn't see the post, and they have over 400 members on and at the same time over 500 guest. Dont take this the wrong way, but look at CLF. Guest cant view NOTHING, nada not even the sections. And they have a new member every time i refresh the damm page. Its sad to say but you need to do something about it man. CLF Shoudn't be bigger then you, but they have more active members then Zela :( It time to stop letting guest Leech nfomation dude.
Just a suggestion

Member count isn't that important.

Your right but having more ACTIVE members would be better. I would rather have 500 total members and 200 active then 5000 members and only 20 member active. Its to make the site have more active members.

If Chruser agreed with that too... then why does he not delete the members with no post at all?!

Because just 'cause they post doesn't mean they don't use. It would suck to have to reregister and set all the options the way you like them every month or so.

I think not.... I think we should possibly set up like a 'SAMPLE' hack (that shows PART of the thread) and then requires the user to sign up and continue doing it.
Visitors that havnt visited for 5 mos, cause no real prob. Its just another email on the mailing list, and just another member to the count.
Yes it is possiable for The Usergroup, Guest to only see some perts of a thread. It just involes small hacking. I also think Guest should not be able to see links, or attacments. That would want them to sign up.

The only idea that would actually work is sorc's idea. It solves the problem. Just make it guests are NOT allowed to see anything in the forums.

I say, let them read, don't let them access files and such. maybe block links until they are registered.

But like 1/30 threads contain files and net addys. That still lets them see everything else.

It makes up look stupid. Considering we have 200 people on and 1/3 the members of CLF :clf:. and 1/6 the members as Blizz, and 1/25 the members of Diabloworld, and we are all more popular than them...
I suggest FORCING sign up like every OTHER week...
kthanks bye.
