A certain creature found in icey places told some people that Zelaron leaked out the alpha copy or something.....I wont mention any names though.

The history of Doom 3-Alpha begins on Feb 2002. A visitor of the Zeleron Forum announce with the name >Apol7< , to post the first downloadlink for Doom 3. At this early date, he must be a member of id Software or Activision. But maybe he from ATI, they tested the R300 the chip and showed the power at the E3.
