I have SMS and Metroid Prime on my memory card. I put in Animal Crossing to play and it says there is not enough room on the memory card. It says AC needs 57 blocks. I have a total of 59 blocks. I can only have 1 freaking game per memory card? Is that the way all GCN memory cards are, or just the one I have?
BTW, the one I have came with the GC. Is it just the size?

For one normal memorycard is enough for animal crossing

I know, animal crossing fits on my memory card. The point is, nothing else does. Animal Crossing takes up too much space(57 blocks out of a total 59). And I can't save NBA Live 2003 because it has 46 blocks. Are all memory cards this small?

Yeah they are, if you rent it or if you buy it you recieve a free memory card.

That's gotta be the gayest thing.. No wonder I like PS2 a lot better, I've got like 20 games on 1 memory card.
And, I have not got a memory card when I've rented games from Blockbuster.

Yeah, but no games are nearly as big and complex as animal crossing.

there is also a mem card 251 with 251 blocks. i have over 10 game files (including animal crossing) and i still have 145 blocks left. if u are complaining about the size of the mem card 59, i highly suggest getting the 251.

Oh, alright. I'll have to make a trip to Best Buy, then.
And Jamesadin, NBA Live 2003 needed 46 blocks to save and that game doesn't seem complex at all.

Thats insane! :p Super Smash Bros, Rouge leader, and Metroid Prime all together use around 15 blocks :T

I can fit Wave Race:Blue Storm, James Bond:007, SSBM, and NFSHP2 all on it with plenty of room left... they don't take up much space...

The point is: Animal Crossing is MEANT to take up one memory card. You should have one card for each town. The game is damn huge and takes up the right amount of space of the 59 block card.

Ya but if you get the 251 you can animal crossing and other games on it.

I like the xbox because I have about 5 games on my harddrive and its only taking up about 1% of memory.

the xbox hard drive is useless. u cant bring ur files to another xbox, and the hard drive makes the system twice as large and heavy as it should be.

You can't somehow transfer it? That sucks some serious knob.

You sould be able to transfer it on a memory card. That would make it better.

Yeah I think GCN is the best.

I don't find many games I like for the GCN, maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.

I've got a PS2 and a GCN. I'm looking at Blockbuster(not to buy, to rent because I want to test it out first.) They've got like 2 1/2 shelves for PS2 and 1/2 shelf for GCN.

You could put it onto a memory card.
You just load it off the hard drive then save it onto the memory card, I believe it will work.

That's a great idea considering this thread is about the GameCube memory card.
