I remember them, but I don't use them. I just remember that it was fun to cheat in Goldeneye 64 with GameShark.

When N64 came out, I actually mailed (not emailed, but mailed) (as in with a piece of paper and an envelope for all you who have never done it before) the Game Genie people and they said they weren't making them anymore.

Ya, gameshark blew both of them right out of the water in competition. I have both psx and n64 gameshark systems, but with the newer consoles out they aren't posting much with the older console hacks anymore. I used to know of a site that posted tons of unoffical shark hacks, hopfully I will beable to find it again and post it on here.

Cheats are fun when there's nothing else to do in the game, except see what you can screw up by messing with the game lol.

You got mew? how? they say you can only get it by winning or being at Nintendo pokemon events. they but it on then.

Like i said: gameshark and/or gamegenie. I did have both.

Copy and pasted from gamewinners under Game Genie Codes section:

"Find Mew in red version:
151-91A-7FC
151-93A-F7E
151-9BA-5DB
Mew will be in the field west of Cerulean City."

You enter that in the device... then it will manipulate the game code.

Thanx Mr. Lee, I will have to try it myself. And as for thoes SF codes, you have to realize that about half the codes that come up in these things are from other ppl just like you and me and have a chance of not always being 100% perfect. meh!

I can tell you why that is knight rider. the reason why you couldn't find mew in yellow version is cause they didn't program him into that version. from what I was told there was a way to get him by searching from him in the fields just under cearulean city, but the info proved to be fake.

I remember having a game genie... it was awesome. You could just type in random stuff to see what happens. Those were the days...

I think the best of all my hack progs for consoles is my N64 Gameshark Pro. It has a code hacking utility in it so I can make my own codes. but it's pretty bad too cause most of the codes I want are already hacked and posted on the gs site.

Mr.Lee
2003-02-21, 01:59 AM
Well you can try typing random numbers and chars... but a risk that it will fuck the game completly.

I know, plus games that use the expansion pak doesn't help either cuase the code hacker prog uses it too.

I bought a GameShark for my PSX and N64, but I rarely used either of them. Most of the time I would just put in glitch codes, but occasionally, when I would purchase a game that was much harder than I had been anticipating (i.e. Shadowman), I would pack on the infinite health codes. I don't like using the GS any more than that because I've had one too many files corrupted by shitty codes.

Bloodkrawller

shadowman was easy, I never used my gs to play that game

Raziel
2003-03-11, 03:03 AM
That's fantastic. Does your ability to play through Shadowman without the use of a Gameshark help you forget about your obvious sexual frustrations?

Yes actually! I just love playing with my joystick in the dark, hehehe! ;):P
