I'm looking into buying my own comp, I need to know what I should get. I don't want to spend too much money but I want a pretty good computer. Any Ideas on what kind I should get?

I don't think I'm smart enough to make my own computer.

well...making one is quite a bit easier than you would think..you just have to buy the parts...and it would be quite a bit cheaper. If you insist on buying one though than check this link out http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/offers/specials_3x_special61.htm ...that seems like a pretty good deal to me but I haven't been on the market to buy a computer for while.

I just got a new computer at www.cypwerpowerinc.com
Check their specials. I got a nforce2 mobo, amdxp2.1, radeon 9700 pro, 512 badA pc3200 ddr, dvddrive,cdburner,etc for $1200.

You can get less, but, besides the processor, that computer is top of the line (top of the line processor would run $300 more).
