As reported on BBC News website (direct link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/he...000/1887281.stm).

Basically, this story is about a woman who had a blood vessel rupture in her neck, which left her paralysed from the neck down. She doesn't want to live like that, as in her view it's no life.

The judgement according to the house of lords is that she should be allowed to die, so they will switch her lifesupport machine off.

My point is... what do you think about the whole concept of allowing someone whose life will never be away from hospital / from a life support machine to die? In the UK, this is the first time this will be allowed.

I know it's a complex issue... but I'm curious about opinions. Make your decision

I've heard of one person paralized similarly that makes a living as an artist. They draw with their mouth.

And no, I'm not kidding
