Microïds Distribution and Softek International are joining forces for the U.S. distribution of Microïds upcoming games, starting with Warrior Kings, a 3D real-time strategy title developed by Black Cactus. This distribution agreement between the two parties applies only to the United States and will allow the U.S. market to have direct access to Microïds interactive entertainment products. Under the terms of the agreement, Softek International will distribute Warrior Kings, Master Rallye and Ski Park Manager.
Resulting from this agreement is the delay of Warrior Kings North American release. Initially planned for the third week of March, the street date of Warrior Kings will be pushed back to April 15, a three-week delay. This postponement is necessary for Softek International to proceed adequately and to negotiate proper retail presence of the title in all major U.S. retailers
