I've been watching the development of Xenosaga closely.

this game looks pretty sweet.... I know that Xenogears is on PSOne but this game is going to be out on PS2 right? I think I'm going to buy it but I'll have to try out Xenogears first.

I mean I've been watching it online. I'm not a game developer (yet)

So far, it looks great, but different. I dislike how they claim it is a different story from Xenogears even though it really isn't. It's what the creator claims was to be the original story. (he was forced to change a lot because he has told he only had one game)

Graphics look great and the combat seems right out of Xenogears. Interesting character design as well.

If I had a PS2, I'd be pre-ordering this one.

are you sure we are looking at the same game?
the battle system is different, The game story is different (it's about a anti gnosis mech or something that is developed too fight "spirits" a.k.a. gnosis that phase in and out of our reality)
mainly female led, Less mechs...

Xenogears is part of a six story epic it being the sixth and this being the first (unconnected stories). The only similarties I have noticed is the developers style.

And Zohar. Zohar is in Xenogears as well. That's where I base most of my suspicions. I take it as being 6 mostly unconnected stories occuring in the same universe with a few links between them.

And the combat does really remind me of Xeno's style with the combos and stuff.
