I know its a FF Forum but Vidar and me think about a chrono thread . we think its a great series even if are only two parts / games .
But thats enough to talk about it
plz post what u think about it if u played both and what ever u want but it must be about chrono

i played Chrono Trigger and i think it is one of the best rpg for snes.
it has a cool story and a very good fighting system.

i played Chrono Cross too. and i love this game too.

but i don't want to say all because then i can't make other posts and you can't make posts because i allready said everything ;-)

so please tell us how you all liked the series!

but it was fantastic its one of the best rpg ever in any case of psx
great story great graphic and great music the intro music i love i get horny if i hear this song ^^

Chrono trigger is my favorite console game.. I never had a console older than an N64.. and I never used the N64.. I never had a PSX so I never played chrono cross.. when I move into the house I might download it

I don't know about that guys... Chrono Cross = SUCKAGE... but when it comes toChrono Trigger, well, all I can say is that it's one of the best RPGs out there... hell, I'm playing it over again right now.

Chrono Cross was pretty badass, in my opinion. Not quite as good as Chrono Trigger, but still a great game. Grav, I would definitely recommend playing it.

Chrono Cross was good, but still nothing like the original.

Xenogears is a great rpg very good story but maybe a little bit difficult for no english people to understand the story
but if i can choose CC or Xeno i would take CC in my opinion better then Xeno.

I didn't like Chrono Cross as much as Chrono Trigger.
I would compare it to Secret of Mana and Legend of Mana, except Legend of Mana not only isn't as good, it blows.

I have a question for the people who played CT and CC
is there a link between both games p.e. the story ?
Because i only played CC not CT or no no that isn't right i played the beginning of CT. :)

There isn't much you could make a thread out of now. Between Grav and myself, we've talked about, and praised everything Chrono Trigger. If anything, you'd just be covering old ground.

If you want your extreme dosage of Chrono Trigger, check out the Comic Legacy forum. It's bad ass, and it's all the Chrono Trigger you'll ever need. There is almost zero spam on that forum, and everyone knows what they're talking about too.

We all have our own opinions...so heres mine...Chrono Trigger was the greatest, I loved it alllmost as much as I loved my copy of FFIII back in the day. Chrono Corss...I feel that is was a misrable beast that prays for death. Didn't like it AT ALL

we never said that we like all the FF series and Chrono Trigger but hates Chrono Cross... we all know that some of the FF games cant compare against CC cuz for one reason... it was just horribly made.... like FF8 and 10 for instance.

when you think so about real time combat and rpgs then there are many rpgs that are no rpgs for example diablo 2 and i belive that there are "some" people who say that this is a rpg. (me included)

You are right... lots of people know Diablo as an RPG... and I do admit that it IS an RPG its just a different type. There are more than one RPG as you've probably noticed throughout all your gameplays.

i think in the most real rpgs you can find most of these points.

"real" RPG in my opinion=characters wait for me to use the command menu to do anything. Walk around and fight random monsters and gain EXPs. Do quests, and carry on with the story of the game. Have party of characters to choose from. Summons, magics, items and special abilities(such as limit breaks) are a must.
